Drum Hill

Drum Hill is located about 4 miles north of Derby. We are in a central position in England, close to the M1, A38 and the A50. The site, which covers about 80 acres, is made up of open fields and mixed woodland, all of which are bordered by dry stone walls and hedges and is at the top of a wooded hillside, giving excellent views over the city of Derby to the south and the countryside of Derbyshire to the north.

Drum Hill can be used by Scout and Guide groups, youth groups, and for educational purposes.

The site has 3 accommodation buildings and a large indoor activity barn.

We provide a large range of activities including; abseiling, climbing, archery, and open fires plus much more. Full details of our activities can be found on the activities pages on our website. To book please contact our booking secretary.

Gradbach

Gradbach Scout Camp is located on the western edge of the Peak District National Park, nestled in the upper reaches of the Dane Valley, on the borders of Derbyshire, Cheshire and Staffordshire.
The campsite is located close to both Buxton and Leek, but because of the nature of the Peak District countryside it appears to be in a world of its own!

The campsite is ideally situated for most Peak District activities including climbing, walking and caving and is a much used stopover point for Scout and Duke of Edinburgh's Award expeditions, as well as longer troop or patrol camps.

Whether you are hike-camping for a single night, or planning a week long camp, there's no finer setting to base your adventure!

Spitewinter

Spitewinter Scout Camp site is located near to the A623 between Chesterfield and Matlock.
The campsite is situated near to a number of attractions and is ideally position in the Peak District to allow for activities including walking, climbing and caving.

Tansley Wood

The site provides accommodation and camping for Cubs, Guides, Scouts, Explorer Scouts, Youth groups and School groups.
It is located in the heart of the Derbyshire Dales in the Lumsdale Conservation area of Matlock near Tansley Village.

You can camp; hike, do bike rides, climb, cave, canoe, sail, study the varied wild life, play games and most of all have fun.

The centre consists of two timber buildings for indoor accommodation; a toilet and shower block and an area of grass for camping
There is an altar fires cooking area with grills and also there is a camp fire circle in two acres of woodland.

The whole site is bounded by a stream and provides a great place for exploration, play wide games and other backwoods activities.

Trent Lock Scout Activity Centre is a water based activity centre set on the banks of the River Trent and run by Long Eaton District scouts.
