Given the change in guidance from the Government and National Youth Agency, the Scouts have moved to various readiness levels in England depending on the Tier of the area.
From Thursday 31st December at 00:01, Derbyshire Scouts will move to Readiness level: RED
This means: No face to face Scouts activities may take place until further notice. If this changes you will be notified.
Extra support for leaders: 6 weeks of press-play-and-go programme sessions. We know how challenging it's been to adapt to running Scouts remotely. That's why we've developed a 6-week package of easy-to-run and engaging online programme sessions, so leaders can just press-play-and-go, delivering quality sessions with their young people at the touch of a button or a click of a mouse - https://www.scouts.org.uk/volunteers/scouts-at-home/press-play-and-go/
We would like to say thank you to all our amazing Scout volunteers!
They have taken a calm and measured approach to this situation along with continuing to ensure that young people and adults stay safe.
Many of our young people are anxious about Covid 19.
We have collated some resources here which you may wish to share with families. These include pictures, signs and symbols to help make them accessible for all.
More resources and support about helping young people transition back into Scouting will follow, when we know when that seems likely to be.
We prepare young people with skills for life
We help over 10900 members right across Derbyshire!
And it's not just young people who can get in on the action. Working alongside our youth members are adult volunteers, with a huge variety of roles and opportunities available. We believe young people deserve the employability, character and practical skills to succeed. We believe in bringing people together to enjoy fun, friendship and adventure in a place where they can belong.

Well done to all of you that took part in the Chilly Challenge. Over 1000 Scouts endured snow, heavy rain and freezing temperatures to camp out in January. Badges need to be ordered from the ACC Scouts Colin Newton email@example.com no later than 14th Feb
After much deliberation by the Organising Committee, we have had a complete review of the routes. The 2 routes will now be known as the Extreme and Challenge.-70k and
33k respectively. Please see our website www.derbyshirescouts.org/fourinns for details of the new routes.
For excitment, fun and adventure!
